Eric Norman will represent our interests, not Austin’s political elites.

Meet Eric Norman

Eric Norman will fight for the hardworking people of Guadalupe and Gonzales Counties.

An Eagle Scout and graduate of the University of North Texas, Eric Norman worked across the great state of Texas - until he found his forever home in Seguin and a new calling as a craftsman working with his hands. As an independent shoemaker, Eric understands the importance of heritage, tradition, and the power of small business to our way of life.

When he's not working, Eric advocates for the economic prosperity and health of the community as a board member and active volunteer for organizations such as the Christian Cupboard, Community Cycles Seguin, and the Downtown Business Alliance, among others. He brings financial leadership, fundraising acumen, and tireless advocacy to these and other organizations.

Most importantly, Eric believes that the power grab in Austin is out of control, and that it's vital to send an independent thinker to Austin who will reflect the interests of and speak up for the people of District 44.

what Eric stands for:

Keeping our community strong for years to come

STRENGTHEN OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Public education is essential to the success of our communities, but lawmakers are refusing to step up and do the right thing to support our schools. Instead, Greg Abbott brought in millions of out-of-state money to pass a voucher program that’s about to devastate districts across Texas. Eric’s ready to fight for our schools, teachers, and kids whose deserve better representation.

keep austin out of our personal lives

Now more than ever, state politicians are prying their way into our personal lives. Eric believes we need a check on Austin's power, and to return decision-making authority to local communities and individual families - away from Austin, where big money, out-of-state interests have a chokehold on state politics.

make it affordable to live in texas

Texas is growing faster than its supply of housing, and costs have skyrocketed. Older homeowners face soaring valuations and struggle to pay property taxes while young families find themselves priced out. Cities should be empowered to smartly increase the pace and affordability of new housing and critical economic development initiatives so Texas can be an affordable place to live again.

Protect Our District's Natural Resources & Way Of Life

When our dams failed and lakes were drained, the powers-that-be in Austin refused to help, leaving local citizens and officials to organize solutions on their own. Water rights, land use, and a reliable electric grid are critical to our way of life, and we need a voice in Austin unafraid to challenge the status quo.
